Norbert Dentressangle strengthens its position in the Belgian logistics market

Norbert Dentressangle confirms the acquisition of a part of the warehousing activities (ambient and temperature controlled) and the "general cargo" freight forwarding activities of the Belgian Nova Natie.

With 250 employees, these activities generated a full year turnover of € 40 million in 2011. 95% of the business is carried out in Belgium (in the Port of Antwerp) and 5% in the Netherlands (Schiphol Airport). The acquired activities operate a total of 130,000 m² of warehousing space.

With a strategic location in the port of Antwerp, this acquisition allows Norbert Dentressangle to strengthen its logistics business in Belgium that now represents nearly € 120 million in annual revenue. Norbert Dentressangle Group has increased its footprint in Belgium and now operates a network of more than 1,000 employees, almost 260,000 m² of warehousing space and a
fleet of 300 vehicles.
